Dave Liniger co-founded the global real estate franchise RE/MAX with his wife, Gail, in 1973. He is highly respected for his extensive real estate knowledge and influence on housing policy. During the recession, he advocated for housing reforms that were largely adopted and helped speed the recovery. Dave's innovative business model for real estate agents, which combines maximum commission with robust support services, has made RE/MAX agents the most productive in the industry. He currently serves as Chairman of the RE/MAX Board.

For more than 50 years, RE/MAX has undergone a transformative journey since it started in 1973 as a solitary real estate office in Denver, Colorado. RE/MAX's journey began with a groundbreaking concept: "real estate maximums," later known as RE/MAX.
Frank Polzler and Walter Schneider opened the first Canadian region, RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada. RE/MAX flourished and rapidly spread across the country, with thirty Canadian franchises sold in just six months. In 1984, RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada became the first independently owned region to reach 1,000 Real Estate Agents.
RE/MAX Europe opens its first region in Spain and RE/MAX of Southern Africa launches. In 1996 RE/MAX Australia became country No. 16, as RE/MAX expanded to its fourth continent. In early 1999 a fifth continent, South America, was added when RE/MAX entered Venezuela.
By the end of the year, RE/MAX boasts nearly 65,000 Associates working out of almost 4,000 offices across 35 countries and eight territories.
RE/MAX is in more than 85 countries. The RE/MAX network expands again, this time into Egypt. In the face of political and economic challenges, RE/MAX Egypt emerged in the second quarter of 2012. Founded by Khaled Nasser with unwavering confidence in the resilience and stability of Egypt's real estate sector.
After 10 years of significant success, RE/MAX Egypt has experienced remarkable growth, establishing itself as one of the largest and fastest-growing real estate networks in the country. We now proudly operate in seven distinct governorates: Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Dakahlia, Assiut, Red Sea, and Al-Qalyubia. RE/MAX Egypt has facilitated the establishment of over 40 offices, with over 800 extensively trained real estate agents.
